The Miami Heat opened their five-game road trip with an emphatic 130–117 win over the Sacramento Kings, powered by a scorching display from beyond the arc. Miami knocked down 21 of 42 three-point attempts, shooting an outstanding 50 percent from long range. Their hot shooting set the tone early, as they buried 15 three-pointers in the first half alone to build a commanding lead.

Bam Adebayo led the way with a well-rounded performance of 25 points, seven rebounds and five assists, while Powell added 22 points. Miami’s bench proved decisive, with Fontecchio drilling five three-pointers en route to 15 points and Andrew Wiggins contributing 19, giving the Heat strong depth scoring throughout the night.

Elsewhere, the Portland Trail Blazers continued their surge with a 117–110 road victory over the Kings on Sunday night. Returning after missing three games, Deni Avdija delivered a game-high 30 points, providing a major offensive boost. Toumani Camara scored 17 points, including nine crucial points during a second-quarter run that swung momentum in Portland’s favor.

The Blazers controlled the second half, with rookie center Donovan Clingan dominating the paint by recording 21 points and a game-high 17 rebounds. The win marked Portland’s third straight victory and lifted their record to .500 for the first time since mid-November.

Portland have now won 10 of their last 13 games, emerging as one of the NBA’s hottest teams. Avdija’s return further strengthens a squad that currently sits ninth in the Western Conference, supported by a steadily improving offense. With Miami’s defense proving inconsistent this season, a fast-paced, offense-driven contest could tilt the balance in favor of the in-form Trail Blazers.
