Rodriguez come out to deny the allegations

After splitting up, claims were made online that Reguilon had been talking to Rodriguez inappropriately during his relationship with Diaz.

His ex-partner is a social media influencer and drew plenty of attention on the Spanish left-back for his off-field activity.

Reguilon deleted all images of Diaz from his Instagram account last Christmas before posting new ones with Rodriguez.

Now, after yet more noise around the pair, Rodriguez has come out fighting.

As reported by Marca, she recently posted an image of the two online captioned: [Translated] “Me with the one who fell in love with me the day he met me.”

One user replied: “You forgot to mention that he also had a girlfriend when he ‘fell in love’ with you.”

Rodriguez did not let this slide, responding: “He was single. I think the story hasn’t been told correctly… Not everything is always what it seems.”

Reguilon and Rodriguez chose to keep their relationship together a secret for some time.

The break up with Diaz – which happened in October 2023 – was described by Reguilon’s ex as being “very difficult.”

Reguilon, 28, is currently without a club after leaving Tottenham at the this summer.

He spent four years on the books in North London but had to go out on loans to Atletico Madrid, United and Brentford after falling out of favour.

He played 73 times in total for Spurs, making 81 appearances in the Premier League.
